Policy session: improving public services

 In Parliament

On Tuesday 25th June 2013 at 6pm, I chaired a Progress Policy Review sessions that was titled: One Nation public services: How do we encourage a greater sense of ownership?

I was joined on the panel by:

  •  Stephen Twigg MP Shadow secretary of state for education,
  • Liz Kendall MP Shadow minister for care and older people
  • Cllr Lib Peck Leader, Lambeth council
  • Kevin Rowan Head of organisation and services, TUC

The event was great opportunity to discuss how we can change public services so that people have a greater say in their ownership. We also discussed how Labour can work to empower people and communities to better take control of their local area.
