Have your say on the 130 bus route
Steve Reed MP has urged residents of Selhurst, Thornton Heath and South Norwood to take part in the Transport for London (TfL) consultation on changes to the 130 bus route in preparation for the re-opening of the Spring Lane Bridge.
TfL’s current plan would see the 130 route extended from Norwood Junction to Thornton Heath via Selhurst Road, Park Road, Whitehorse Lane, Thornton Heath High Street and Parchmore Road. This would create new links between Thornton Heath and South Norwood and Woodside.
TfL’s consultation is open until 7 July and you can fill it in by clicking here.
Commenting on the current plans, Steve said:
“We need a direct bus link between South Norwood and Thornton Heath, so I think this plan looks like a sensible step in improving public transport in the area.
It’s important that everyone gets their say so I urge everyone to let TfL know what they think about the plans to extend the 130 bus route.”
