Croydon North businesses give Steve a flying start
Steve Reed, Labour’s candidate for Croydon North, made a flying start to the general election campaign on Monday 30 March with visits to local businesses.
Businesses in Norbury, Thornton Heath, and West Croydon welcomed Steve’s visit and showed their support for his re-election and a Labour government by putting up posters reminding residents of the general election on 7 May.
Steve also spoke to residents about his key election pledges for Croydon North and how they will help the local economy: fair pay; a secure NHS; jobs and regeneration for the whole of Croydon; more police on local streets to stop crime; and clearer streets.
Steve Reed said: “The businesses in Croydon North are a vital part of our local community and I am always grateful to have their support. I have worked hard to support our local economy during my time in Parliament and it is clear that only Labour will provide the jobs and regeneration for the whole of Croydon”
