The election, which took place on the same day as the elections for the London mayoral and assembly elections, saw an excellent campaign by the Lambeth Labour group supported by Streatham and Croydon North Constituency Labour Party.

Steve Reed MP, Labour’s parliamentary candidate for Streatham and Croydon North welcomed the results and congratulated Sarah on the campaign: “I’m delighted for Sarah on her election victory following an excellent campaign. Sarah will be a tireless champion for the residents of Streatham Common & Vale.”
